The hunter and the hunted

Among us are those who derive a deep pleasure from seeing the light in the eyes of our animals go out forever.

Their eyes light up when they see the dull lifeless sheen come over the eyes of a creature from the wild.

When it falls to the dust, they smile.

They are victorious.

They are men and women with guns.

I was an avid deer hunter..when I needed food to put on the table..now I hunt with the camera and try to make a wildlife habitat out of the 5 acres of "jungle" that we have in FL. I am trying to create a place for all the critters to feel safe. So much of their habitat is being turned into a subdivision.
